Right There: privacy policy
Right There is a personal project. This policy covers the iPhone app, including test versions distributed through Apple's TestFlight.
What the app collects: nothing
Right There has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It has no servers and sends nothing anywhere. Everything it uses stays on your iPhone.
Camera
The camera is used to frame your photo and to guide whoever holds the phone back to it. The camera picture is compared with your photo on the phone itself and is never sent anywhere.
Photos
The photos you take are saved to your own photo library. If you choose a photo from your library to come back to, the app keeps a small copy of it on your phone.
Location (optional)
If you allow it, the app notes where each photo was taken, so the photos taken where you stand come first. This stays on your phone and is added to the photo in your library, as the Camera app does.
Reminders (optional)
If you ask to be reminded to come back to a spot, the reminder is set on your phone.
Purchases
The one-off unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
Deleting your data
Deleting a spot in the app removes the app's own copies. Deleting the app removes everything it kept. Photos saved to your library stay there until you delete them.
TestFlight
Apple runs TestFlight and may share crash reports, usage information and any feedback you choose to send with the developer, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms. You can turn crash sharing off in the TestFlight app.
Changes
If a later version collects or sends anything, this page will say so before that version is offered to you.
